Please include your macOS version, SopFaceForge version, and whether you are using TestFlight / Mac App Store or a direct build.

Get the app

• TestFlight / Mac App Store — install from Apple when the build is available to you. Sandboxed builds focus on design + Export Code.
• Direct / notarized edition — includes one-click Build, Simulator launch, and USB / MTP helpers when distributed outside the Mac App Store.

Toolchain (Build & Simulator)

1. Install Java 11+ (Temurin 17 recommended).
2. Install Connect IQ SDK Manager and download an SDK + device packs.
3. In SopFaceForge → Settings → Toolchain, generate a developer key if needed.
4. Use Simulator to load a PRG, or Export Code for VS Code.

USB / MTP watches

1. Quit Garmin Express completely (menu bar too).
2. Unlock the watch and allow the computer if prompted.
3. If macOS mounts GARMIN/Apps, use Build & Install.
4. Otherwise use Build & Stage MTP and copy the PRG with OpenMTP into GARMIN/Apps.
